Do I drive myself?
Yes! But you don’t have to, both options are possible. However, riding yourself is part of the fun and is easier than you might think. For first-time riders, our guides will give lessons and will make sure that you are confident before we head out. We also leave from the edge of town to avoid navigating through heavy traffic. Safety is of the utmost importance to us at Green Frog, so we will make every effort to help you feel comfortable in order to get the most out of your adventure.
Do I need a Motorbike Driver’s License?
No. A license is not required in Cambodia for motorbike/scooters up to 125cc. (However, please note that some insurance companies will not cover you in case of accident unless you have a local license or motorbike license from your own country. Please do your own research on this before choosing whether or not to ride yourself.)
Can I rent a motorbike myself?
While it is possible to ride a motorbike on a guided tour, it is prohibited by law to rent a motorbike to tourists in Siem Reap. Although some places in town do offer this service, it is best to avoid getting caught, as the fines are heavy for both the business owner and the rider.
Do I need insurance?
Green Frog Adventure Tours do not provide insurance. You will need to organize this yourself before leaving on the tour. It is a condition of our company that each participant holds travel insurance for the duration of the tour. Insurance must include comprehensive medical and emergency evacuation. Please do your own research beforehand to make sure that your insurance will cover you in case of a motorbike accident. Green Frog cannot be held responsible in case of an accident.
Terms & Conditions
Payment
Once you have made a booking with us and your booking is confirmed, you will be required to pay the full amount in cash to Green Frog Adventure Tours at check-in on the day your tour departs. Customized group travel tours require a 25% deposit after receiving your booking confirmation. The second deposit required is a further 25%, to be paid 1 month before the tour date. The remaining amount is to be paid at check-in on the day of the tour departure.
Tour Inclusions
Every Green Frog Adventure tour includes different services in terms of included activities, meals and transport. These details are outlined on the tour description. Green Frogs Adventure Tours reserves the right to change the listed inclusions due to operational changes or other factors.
Cancellation by Green Frog Adventure Tours
In the event that Green Frog Adventure Tours cancels a tour, notification will be given no less than 7 days before the departure date of the trip. Green Frog Adventure Tours will return all money paid for the tour cost. Green Frogs Adventure Tours is not liable for any other money paid, including flight ticket purchases or accommodation bookings. Please note this excludes cancellations due to conditions outside Green Frog Adventure Tours control such as natural disaster, political instability, etc. In such an event no money will be returned by Green Frog Adventure Tours and you will need to make a claim on your travel insurance.
Itineraries
Green Frog Adventure Tours reserves the right to change advertised itineraries before or during a tour in the interests of safety resulting from weather, changed local conditions, disease or natural disaster. The tour leader or guide has the right to make any necessary changes to the itinerary if deemed necessary. Any client not adhering to changes made for these reasons will be deemed to have left the tour and are no longer under the care of Green Frog Adventure Tours.
Personal Responsibility
Due to the nature and locations that Green Frog Adventure Tours operate in, Green Frogs Adventure Tours and their guides, leaders and support staff do not accept any responsibility for any loss, injury, illness, damage, accident, fatality, delay or inconvenience experienced from time of departure to time of return arising out of any such adventure trip organized by Green Frogs Adventure Tours.
Privacy Statement
Any personal information Green Frog Adventure Tours collects with your booking will not be provided to third party suppliers. Your email address will not be shared with anyone.
